From Priests for Life: In April of two thousand and ten, Priests for Life asked The Polling Company to conduct professional research into the attitudes of the African American community about abortion, and into what kind of messaging would be most effective for them. Focus groups were held in major cities and a nationwide poll was also conducted. One of the things that was done in the focus groups is that pictures of aborted babies were shown to the participants. This had an impact, expressed by these words of one of the participants, “Before I came in to this room today, I was pro-choice. Claim: “Showing people horrifying images of abortion is ineffective and doesn’t change minds.” Tell that to Abby Johnson: The former director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in southeast Texas says she had a “change of heart” after watching an abortion last month — and she quit her job and joined a pro-life group in praying outside the facility. Abby Johnson, 29, used to escort women from their cars to the clinic in the eight years she volunteered and worked for Planned Parenthood in Bryan, Texas. The Anti-Choice Project recently paid a visit to Bremerton High School to show students there something their teachers refuse to show them: what abortion means to a defenseless baby. High school students can seek abortions, even without their parents knowledge… much less their consent. Kids old enough to have an abortion are certainly old enough to see an abortion.
